Okay, that was a surprise.
A girl I was planning to meet visited me. She bought fruits, throat medicine and mulled wine. She obviously became concerned when she heard my voice on the phone. I tried to return the money to her, but she refused. She laughed a little at my home style of dressing with an oversized cardigan and my hair in a messy bun.
Fortunately, I had some cake in the fridge (I was prepared for the Friday drinking party, which was canceled). We warmed up some wine and instead of going to the cinema, we watched "Howl's Moving Castle" on the couch.
The thing is, by choosing this path, I accepted the possibility that I would be alone. I have my job, I have friends, my goal and hobby. I'm usually too busy to feel lonely. But when she went home, I felt a strange emptiness.
